How To Book A Trip:

Click on the BOOK NOW button and look at the calendar to view availabilities. If you’re not comfortable using the online booking service, you can email us at arrowtug@gmail.Com to book directly. You can also pay for your excursion on the day of the trip in person on the boat with cash, check, or credit card.

Booking Notes:

Although we only schedule trips with a minimum of three paying passengers, to meet the minimum operating expenses, you can look at the calendar of trips that are already scheduled that have availabilities that don’t have the maximum of six passengers. You can also contact us and we can book an individual or couple on your preferred date and wait for others to book on that date to make that trip possible. Also, you always have the option of paying the minimum to schedule the trip.

The Boat:

The Arrow No. 2 was the former pilot transfer vessel that served the Columbia River bar pilots from 1962 to 2012. When the Arrow was retired it was reported to be the oldest working pilot launch on the West Coast and was estimated to have completed 250,000 pilot transfers in its fifty year career. The Tours:

All our tugboat tour options, dates, and available times are updated daily and can be found on our “Book Now” button below.
Tours are 2-2.5hrs and is $150 per person for adults and $100 for children and the Coast Guard regulations mandate a maximum of six passengers, not including crew.

Tour Information:

The standard tour is 2 1/2 to 3 hours, dock to dock and includes an engine room tour and safety briefing before departing. The boat is licensed for a maximum of six passengers, not including crew. The interior of the boat has cushioned bench seating for passengers, a climate controlled air system, a bathroom (head) that is outfitted with a flushing portable toilet, and ample windows for visibility. The exterior of the boat has a single level deck with safety railings around the perimeter on the bow, stern and sides. The Arrow was designed and built specifically for the purpose of working along the Lower Columbia and is seaworthy and comfortable in all but the most extreme circumstances.

$150 per adult, $100 per child 3 person minimum to book trip. $450 minimum trip requirement, regardless of age.
